THE REALITY SHOW – Runway meets Real Style
‘THE REALITY SHOW’ is arguably one of the best independent Japanese fashion magazine in circulation. Borne as a brainchild of Tiffany Godoy and Tomoyuki Yonezu, the biannual magazine aims to connect high fashion with Tokyo’s street culture, whilst capturing the essence of the “Tokyo style” by featuring local fashion icons dressed in a mix of their own clothing and one of their desired fashion label.
Expect to read exclusive interviews conducted by Tiffany Godoy, chief editor of ‘The Reality Show’, to be complemented with cutting-edge visual images. Tiffany has been living in Japan since 1997, working as a fashion editor and consultant. She has consulted for Style.com, and contributed to several esteemed publications such the New York Times, WWD, V, ELLE, Self Service, Encens, Composite, Studio Voice, Spur Luxe, Vogue Nippon, etc. She is also the author of ‘Style Deficit Disorder’ and ‘Japanese Goth’. Moreover, the magazine is art-directed by Tomoyuki Yonezu, a renowned art director/graphic designer based in Japan. He produces works through his own perspective on fashion. His clientele includes Shu Uemura, Cartier, Levi’s Japan, DE BEERS, Sony, NISSAN, MTV, ato, John Lawrence Sullivan, etc.
Tiffany and Tomoyuki now forms the ‘Reality Show Creative Services’. Represented by ADM, the creative duo gives visual and conceptual solutions to luxurious business.
The Reality Show Vol.2 is due out in May this year.
