What happens when the Wanderer experiences the Wonderful? WanderWonder is an explorative menswear label that bridges the gap between “high street” and “fashion market”.
Starting with an appreciation of colours and textures in one’s surroundings, then mixing that with unusual fabrics, and topping it off with thoughtful nuances, surprising twists, and intentional imperfections. The look is unexpected and unplanned, yet still relevant to daily wear. WanderWonder is about clothes that refine instead of define. And the challenge for the designers is to exceed expectations while always maintaining the brand’s concept.
Lenz is the creative mind behind WanderWonder, with Kenny joining the business shortly after its launch in July 2010 to play an active role in the design process. Although neither has received formal fashion training, both have a keen interest in fashion. With Lenz’s vast travel experiences as a personal buyer and Kenny’s astute sales and marketing expertise, the partners believe they have the perfect recipe for a fashionable success. Their frequent visits to ultra-modern Japan offer both inspiration and aspiration, challenging them to be more experimental. By fusing design, fashion and art, they aim to push the boundaries of their collaborations to completely new levels.
