Singapore Guide | Designers – A.K.A Wayward
Made for: Both the ladies and the men.
Mun Foong and Mun Loong of started this label in 2011. Known for the whimsical and theatricality of their clothes, they definitely attract a strong following and I’d like to see their clothes as wearable art. Being fond of characterizing their clothes, there was a strong sense of romanticism in their spring collection, emitting a very 60s vibe, set in a Wong Kar Wai film.
The hit to your wallet: $95 (shirt) – $415 (blazer)
Why we love A.K.A Wayward:
Structured Plaid shirt with a quirky twist? Checked. Elegant silhouettes with playful prints? Checked. What is there not to love? A.K.A Wayward definitely jived well with our own aesthetics, we approve!
