Singapore Guide | Cafes – Oriole Cafe

Oriole Cafe

Oriole Cafe now roasts its own coffee weekly in-house on Ella, our bright orange boutique roaster for total control over the quality and freshness, both for serving at the cafe and for retail. To fully experience the variety of specialty coffee available, Oriole has introduced single origin/ single-cup filter on the menu.

Spurred on by his passion, Keith scored a double First at the Singapore National Barista Championships and the Pura Latte Art Champion ship this February 2010 (2nd 08′, 3rd ’09, 4th ’07). “I hope that by serving quality ‘honest’ coffee at our outlets by dedicated, professional and properly-trained baristas, we can fill this niche in the café market in Singapore,” says Keith Loh.

The full bar menu also carries a variety of teas, milkshakes, sodas, juices, beers, wines and Oriole’s signature cocktails, so guests can pop in anytime during the day for a quick cuppa or tipple.

Besides its substantial drinks list, the spacious dining café is the ideal place for breezy lunches, quick coffee breaks and relaxed dinners with its warm and inviting ambience, characterised by dazzling brass chandeliers, leather-upholstered booth seats, and a long marble-top bar counter. In the evening, Oriole morphs into a chic and lively watering hole that serves up specialty cocktails and an eclectic music selection.
