From the creator of The Phantom of the Opera, Evita and Cats comes the one of the best-loved, longest-running and most unique musicals in theatrical history – Andrew Lloyd Webber’s well-known musical is rolling over to our sunny shores! Direct from its sell-out tour around the UK, STARLIGHT EXPRESS will be playing here starting 13 November at MasterCard Theatres at Marina Bay Sands. Be absorbed into a futuristic tale about love, rivalry and hope, told by toy trains that come to life and race one another.

Originally conceived as a cartoon story for his own children, STARLIGHT EXPRESS tells the story of a child’s dream. Toy trains come to life and compete to become the fastest engine in the world, while also competing for the affections of the glamorous coaches with whom they must ‘team-up’ with. The talented cast of 28 will be whirling and flying around as they do their daredevil stunts in their roller skates. It will be an energy-packed and thrilling performance, with the cast in their mesmerizing costumes and sets designed by the legendary West End designer John Napier.

Not only that, STARLIGHT EXPRESS promises to impress with their backdrop of spectacular 3D effects. The longest running musical in theatrical history, running for almost 18 years, STARLIGHT EXPRESS promises two hours of speed, turbo-charged stunts with extraordinary roller skates choreography and a high-voltage soundtrack. More than 25 million people worldwide have enjoyed a thrilling ride aboard STARLIGHT EXPRESS, and now’s your chance to experience it too!
