New Brands Popping Up in Our New Actually Store

With our brand new pop-up store opening at Suntec this coming 8 December, we have stocked up plenty of products and new brands, all waiting for your arrival! Featuring some of the new brands that we will be bringing in, we hope you’d love them as much as we do.

Founded in 1983, Mike Taggett drew inspiration from his friend’s dog named Chumley and created the brand, CHUMS. Alongside with “Booby Bird” as the mascot, he started designing eyewear retainers called “CHUMS Original Retainer” and produce them in a manufacturing plant established in Hurricane, Utah.

Slowly, CHUMS came up with various accessories and apparel such as the ‘HELLOWEAR’ label, ‘Hurricane’ Top and ‘Hurricane’ Walkers, which became a big hit. CHUMS also released a CHUMS ‘Field Line’, featuring heavy-duty products designed for serious outdoor use.

Today, CHUMS has established offices in Japan, Hong Kong and Shanghai, China and is looking to unveil the brand in 14 Asian countries.

Pestle and Mortar

First established in 2010 by a group of three friends, Pestle & Mortar Clothing is a Malaysian lifestyle label catered towards individuals who seek originality in apparel that reflect their personality. It all started out as a light-hearted attempt to actualize ideals into designs for t-shirts and slowly became a fashion phenomenon that changed the face of Southeast Asian street wear. Designed for every season, the collections incorporate the nuances of Southeast Asian culture by including visuals on the products, such as the iconic Lucky Cat design.

Today, Pestle & Mortar Clothing is one of Southeast Asia’s leading street wear and lifestyle brands among urbanites, with five retail outlets in Kuala Lumpur and an online store, shipping to over 10 countries including Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Japan, Hong Kong, Korea, Australia, New Zealand, Latvia, Russia, Germany, Italy, United Kingdom and America.

Founded in Sweden by Nicklas (aka NIK), a guy who takes swimwear as his choice of apparel in his daily life, and Benjamin (aka BEN), a guy who dreams to establish a product that would bring fashion to new dimensions. NIKBEN launched their first collection in 2014, with the ambition to bring new life to swimwear with their ground breaking, unpredictable and fun-filled designs, which conveys a lifestyle. You can wear all year and on different occasions, not only to the beach or for swimming. NIKBEN is not simply in the business of selling swimwear – NIKBEN sells dreams of summer, sun and happy moments.

Today, NIKBEN’s swim shorts sold in over twenty-five countries worldwide and are found in department stores such as Nordstrom, Galleries Lafayatte and Harrolds.
