This year’s Music For Life, a charity event held by Studio Brussel radio station from Belgium, took place in the fine fashion city of Antwerp. The aim this year was to help the 15 million children worldwide affected by Aids from one or both of their parents.
Aids not only kills their chances of a normal life but takes away their hope for a future. The money raised went to the Red Cross’s current programs in Africa. In South Africa alone, there are 100 000 children that Red Cross supports whom have all lost parents to Aids. Christmas isn’t about hoping someone will buy you a Wii or a Louis Vuitton bag but about giving. Antwerp’s donation of 50 000 euro was a great way to start spreading what Christmas truly is about.
