Foster The People—Live in Singapore

If you haven’t heard yet, iconic indie-pop frontrunners, Foster The People, will be performing in Singapore at the end of the month, Tuesday, 30 January 2018, for the second time since their first debut concert in 2012 at Fort Canning Park to really top the end to the start of the new year off. The concert will be held at Zepp@BigBox Singapore and will be featuring songs from the Californian outfit’s latest album, Sacred Hearts Club, such as the ever-dreamy and nostalgia-inducing “Sit Next to Me”, and hit single “Doing it for the Money”. Tickets are now available here!

Also, while we’re still in the new years vibe, here’s a little message from FTP:

Their latest gift to us, Sacred Hearts Club, sees a shift in the style and sound that FTP is known for incorporating a funky, electronic, 80s-style R&B vibe to their songs but, it’s far from being worse than their previous works. On the contrary, it shows their consistency in their ethos, and their improvement in their creativity—keeping it real and honest.

All the other kids and their you-know-what’s, right? Seriously, who doesn’t know that song? In fact, it’s kind of one of those songs that actually helps you remember, doesn’t it? It helps you remember of better times, or even memories of events that never happened to you or you just want to happen. But I digress.

We know how the song goes and it’s 128 beats per minute rhythm. But, like an ever-fleeting piece of art, Mark Foster and the people with him must move on to greater things to foster their music. What does that mean for us, listeners? Rejoice! It means this band’s still got a lot in store to grace our eager ears.

This is your chance to catch them live and get a taste of their music just as the year kicks off! New year, new discoveries, right?

Again, tickets are now available here!
