Boutique Culture | LN-CC
LN-CC is arguably the coolest concept store in London at the moment. Since its launch last year, it has been attracting a lot of attention from many of the worlds leading fashionistas. Located in Dalston, East London, the store consists of an online platform and 5,000sq ft store space. It was started by John Skelton, former creative director at oki-ni, and Daniel Mitchell, and its interior has been designed by celebrated set designer Gary Card.
LN-CC is more than a store, expressing curated ideas of clothing, music and art. It deals in men’s and womenswear based on a concept of unisex styling, music, and books, and regularly holds exhibitions. Their offerings vary from what are believed to be the best mainline brands such as Balenciaga, Jil Sander, Dries Van Noten, Rick Owens and Yohji Yamamoto to some underground Japanese brands such as SASQUATCHfabrix, UNUSED and Wacko Maria. The store also stocks some of the up and coming brands from all over the world such as J.W. Anderson, New Power Studio and Tze Goh.
The retail store has an amazing interior designed by renowned artist and set designer Gary Card. The concept space can be seen as an installation piece as a whole, consisting of three concept rooms, a book and record store, a club space for private events and a working photography studio. These rooms are all connected together conceptually and physically by an indoor forest and futuristic skeletal tunnel made of raw wood and orange acrylic.
