Art Stage Singapore 2012 | A Visual Feast for Art Enthusiasts!

Art enthusiasts can rejoice as the annual Art Stage is here at the Marina bay sands! Positioned as the Asian art fair, Art Stage is more than a market platform; it is Asia’s definitive point and place of exchange between collectors, artists, art lovers and art enthusiasts.

Art Stage Singapore is definitely not a typical art fair – people will find not just commercially popular art pieces on exhibition but they can also expect to see – and participate in – performances and interactive projects such as the Gao Brothers’ “World Hug Day”.

There are also many spectacular large-scale installations including works by world renowned Antony Gormley which was presented by London’s White Cube and Navin Rawanchaikul, established Thai artist who exclusively created a 12m long painting, titled, “We are Asia!” that was Inspired by the fair’s eye-catching publicity campaign.

Only in its second year, the fair has managed to attract new, high profile exhibitors. Attendees will be overfed with inspiration by the works featured in prestigious international galleries such as Galerie Eigen+Art (Leipzig/Berlin), Ben Brown Fine Arts (London), Lehmann Maupin (New York). With a pallet of 123 leading galleries from Asia and the West, Art Stage Singapore 2012 shows the most important, interesting and stunning of the Asia Pacific’s artistic creativity.
