We are pleased to announce that Singaporean singer-songwriter and indie-pop darling Inch is set to perform alongside Jamie Lawson this 27 April 8pm at Hard Rock Cafe, 50 Cuscaden Road!
Born and raised in St Budeaux, Plymouth, England, the acoustic artist made quite an impression within Ireland when his hit song Wasn’t Expecting That became an overnight YouTube sensation and had peaked number 3 on the Irish Singles Chart! But it wasn’t until he got back in contact with celebrity singer/songwriter Ed Sheeran that his career finally took off worldwide.
Jamie Lawson began his musical career as a covers band until he eventually discovered his voice at the age of 17 and began performing across the Irish club circuit. Starting off as a seasoned performer in the Irish music scene with his first album, it wasnt until the release of his second album The Pull of the Moon in 2010 that he found greater success.
Jamie Lawson has now performed in several countries worldwide, touring alongside popular boy band One Direction and hitting top chart positions with his unique sound in multiple countries. Its pretty simple acoustic based music, folk music but not in the traditional sense. I wanted to create an open, spacious album, Lawson explains.
